We strive to provide 2 to 3 hour turn-around time for your data recovery quote which will include: Estimated time-frame. Estimated chance of data recovery (%). Whether spares are needed. You can then make an informed decision to continue. After receiving signed approval, the recovery process can begin.

We will keep you informed of our progress to the best of our ability. Recovered data will be stored on DVD (if 4GB or less) or a destination hard drive which we can provide. No Recovery, No Charge! 2. We diagnose and assess the possibility of data recovery from the media (hard drive, memory stick, memory card). We will give you a free data recovery quotation, which will include
   1. he estimated time-frame for data recovery,
   2. the estimated chance of data recovery (%) and whether spares will be needed.
3. You can then make an informed decision to continue. After receiving your signed approval, the data recovery process can begin.
4. We will keep you informed of our progress to the best of our ability. Recovered data will be stored on a DVD (if 4GB or less) or a destination hard drive, which we can provide if necessary.
5. If we cannot recover your data, you will not be invoiced for the attempted recovery labour. Any non-refundable fees will be stipulated on the quote beforehand, so there are no hidden costs.

Things we know:

• eletronic hardware will fail – it’s just the when we are not sure of.
• Notebooks/PCs/Servers can be stolen / lost or have accidental damage.
• The data or information on these devices are more valuable than equipment it’s stored on

Things we can do:

• have a data recovery plan in place even if it’s a 1 page document stating the obvious – (eg Backup, backup, backup!)
• Backup, backup, backup!
• Have an off-site copy of your data – stored at home, away from the office or using services such as our online back service.
• Use optical media for archiving purposes – once you’ve done your year end and need to store the data else where, back up to your hard drive, make a couple copies to DVD/CD and keep the data in fire proof safe.
• If data recovery is required do a little research into the company that will recovery the data; ask questions about turn arround times, how will they get the data back to you, what is that companies recovery rate in % etc.  We use Intratec Data Recovery due to their high rate of recoveries and good service.
