This has always been the case, however, the Registry is only now starting to enforce the conditions of ordering an org.za domain. It is therefore important that you ensure that you comply with the following criteria going forward:</p>
<p><strong>What if my .org.za website is currently being used for commercial purposes?</strong></p>
<p>If this is the case, you are infringing the regulations surrounding the usage of an .org.za domain name. We would advise that you transfer your website content to an alternative domain at your earliest convenience, to prevent possible termination by the Registry.</p>
<p><strong>Registering of new .org.za domains:</strong></p>
<p>Domain registration is free for entities that are able to provide Section 21 Certification or SARS documentation to accounts@halocomsa.com. If you are a non-profit organisation and are unable to provide the documentation required, you will be charged a once-off administration fee of R350.</p>
